Blasta Collective

We have previously been to Blasto’s before they moved to bigger premises and loved it! We had booked a table and didn’t realise that they had moved. We were not the only ones that had gone to the old address. We eventually found where they had moved to further down Goodwood Parade. We found our table which was high one. Great for having drinks on but not for a meal. Another downside was our table was in a walkway so it made it very noisy. We were told that we could order on the app or go up to the bar and order via the menu. We thought that it would be quicker to order from the app as the queue at the bar was long and busy. It turns out you can order everything but a cocktail on the app! We couldn’t get our order to go through on the app so had to queue up at the bar which wasn’t ideal. I am gluten free and didn’t feel That the new menu had much variety for me. They have a great beer garden and a playground for the kids. Dogs are also welcome outside.

Sneaky Monday arvo visit. Had 3 Share plates all Gluten free. Pork belly, chicken karate and the squid. As far as Gluten free options these were on point. Best bit was the Barmen actually knew their Ginger beer on tap was not Gluten free and suggested the Cider which was. Good Bourbon selection for a dinnerbrewery as well. Will be back for a at some point.
