Blend

Was refused service because I have Coeliac disease. Went up to order a salad (specifically chose this as I thought a salad isn’t going to have gluten in and it says low gluten friendly) was told they were not willing to serve me if I was coeliac as the kitchen wasn’t safe. If you are not going to serve people with allergies, advertise this!!! My friend had already ordered her food and had to go back to cancel hers. We specifically came here because of the mention of gluten free options. Why offer ‘low gluten friendly’ options if you’re not going to cater to people who actually can’t eat gluten?

Beware if you are a celiac. I ate here on 3.10.23. I ordered a gluten free toasted sandwich and my brother ordered a regular sandwich. I was handed my gf sandwich which turned out to be the wrong one. I took a bite and knew straightaway it was not gf. When I informed the staff they apologised but did not seem particularly concerned, it was as if this wasn't important. I was offered a refund of the sandwich but had to queue up to get this refund. All in all I will not be eating here again and do not trust the staff.
