Nice gluten free vegan menu

Blossom and root is an absolutely amazing restaurant! I ate here several times and every thing I tried was so delicious. I have a gluten allergy and felt completely safe eating here, most of the things on the menu is gluten free or can be made gluten free.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way back from hiking Mt Diablo. What an absolute gem!!! The food was amazing, with fantastic flavors and fresh ingredients. Who would've thought to mix tom yum style soup with tofu and mushroom and penne noodle (probably as a gluten free substitute)? But it absolutely works and is very hearty. Our Chilled Beet and Citrus bowl was equally awesome with a diametrically oppose set of flavors -- quinoa, millet, beans, avocado, and vegan feta, it's both yummy AND healthy AND good for the planet. We don't exactly live nearby, but we can't wait to go back!! (Also a shout out to the friendly staff.)
