Incredible! So many gluten free options, marked clearly on the menu. And FANTASTIC gluten free key lime pie! The owner, Nelson, made sure we knew how much they cared about making an affordable and safe GF dining experience. Loved the ambience and the food; the burger was one of the best I've ever had and the gf bun was soooo fluffy! They give you a FREE cookie at the end and the gf cookie was actually soft and not crumbly. I cried a little I was so excited. I will be back!

Blue Star Cafe is the kind of place you dream of stumbling upon. Fresh, flavorful food, kind people, and a genuine sense of care in every detail. I recently placed a takeout order, and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The owner actually came out to greet me when I arrived. How often does that happen anymore? You can tell he’s not just running a restaurant; he’s creating a community. The hostess was equally incredible, taking the time to double-check every detail of our very complex order with so much patience and warmth. She even included gluten-free treats for us, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Everything was beautifully packed and tasted amazing. You can feel the freshness and quality in every bite. It’s clear they take pride in what they serve, and it shows. If you’re in Mooresville and haven’t tried Blue Star Cafe yet, you’re missing out. It’s a total gem, off the beaten path but absolutely worth the stop. Can’t wait to go back!
