The Wife and I have been coming in here since it was very small back in 2010. Always had a good meal. We missed it the past 2 COVID years. It was quite different this time in regards to the actual quality of the meal as compared to years past. It's not as clean as it once was and there were multiple flies at our table by the dirty window. The staff are well trained and attentive. The scallops were excellent while the seaweed bedding was too tough to consume. The wife's shrimp and grits (her favorite seafood meal) were bland with an excessive amount of liquid. My Sandbar special fish portions were very good. The oysters were over breaded and overcooked and served on a huge mound of fries. At over $100 w/tip it was expensive for what we got. We will give the Blue Moon a pass next time and try some other places that we haven't already ruled out.
*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do your self a favor, trust me, etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No one cares about the waiter/waitress names, their abilities, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. No we don't care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.
