Bluebells Cafe at Briddlesford Farm

Left here feeling a little underwhelmed but not unhappy. The first thing to say is that this is not a venue to go to if you're looking for a quick lunch. It was quite a long wait for food. We weren't in a hurry so it didn't matter but if you're on a tight timetable it could get very frustrating. My wife had the soup of the day which she really enjoyed, followed by a gluten free scone with jam. I chose the frittata with salad and coleslaw. The salad was OK but not very exciting. It was much the same as you might get in any establishment anywhere in the country. It would be nice if someone, somewhere would do something a bit different. The frittata I found a bit bland. Under seasoned and lacking any real flavour. The coffee was excellent and the service, though slow, was polite and friendly. I like the venue very much and might have enjoyed it more had I chosen something else from the menu. All in all, a pleasant but not inspiring lunch.

Great place easy to drive past cos it's on a fast road but if you can stop and have a cuppa and a bite to eat food is good and they have gluten free options to.
