The first time dining at a sushi restaurant WASN'T a challenge! I have many food allergies so the chef created a fusion of several rolls and used a Japanese Tonkatsu Sauce that is Gluten free and also soy free that I can safely consume. This is the FIRST TIME IN FIFTEEN YEARS that I've really been able to really enjoy sushi. I was almost in tears I was so happy. She put the tonkatsu sauce on the fried salmon collar, the sashimi, and the caterpillar roll (substituted yellowfin foe the crab since I'm allergic to that too!).
