Tucked away down the back of a court in Doncaster East, this cafe hit every spot. The food was great with lots of menu options and catering for vegan and gluten-free, too. They even have 6 types of milk! Staff were super friendly. I’ve visited Bob’s Your Uncle Cafe more than eight times now, and it’s consistently been a great experience. The food is always delicious, and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. As someone who is gluten intolerant, I really appreciate that they offer GFO (Gluten-Free Options) without sacrificing taste. The cafe is also very pet-friendly, welcoming dog owners to bring their pets, which makes it even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is always relaxed, perfect for a casual meal or catching up with friends. A few of my favorites are the Sammy Royale (GFO), which I absolutely love, and I strongly recommend the Garlic Prawn Linguine—it’s always packed with flavor! My boyfriend is a big fan of their Iced Minty Choc, which he always raves about. What I really appreciate is how the restaurant genuinely cares for its customers, even going out of their way to accommodate specific requests, like extra linguine or less garlic prawn. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot with great food, welcoming staff, and a laid-back atmosphere. I’ll definitely continue coming back and highly recommend it to others!

This is a hidden gem! The food was amazing and they had heaps of gluten free options that tasted amazing. We had the BLAT, the bacon eggs bene (gluten free) and the coconut prawn chilli scramble. All 3 dishes were amazing and so reasonably priced. I highly recommend making a reservation for the weekend as we got there just before peak period and there was quite a wait for the tables after we arrived. I would 100% eat there again and can't wait to try the lunch menu.
