Bob Evans

This morning my husband and I dropped our children off at school and decided to go have breakfast. There was a group of 4 next to us. We watched as they took their order. They then turned to us and we gave our orders. It was about 2 minutes in between and they came back and took the table of 4 order. Many others came in and sat. Another couple came in and sat about ten minutes later their order was taken. The table of 4 received their meal. They ate their food and was waiting for their check. The couple behind them was halfway through their meal and yet we are still sitting with our drinks. We didn’t order anything special just a steak omelet and a banana berry farmer choice. Over an hour and I noticed a pattern. All the older white people were eating and the black people were just sitting. We could have taken out our phones a screamed but we chose to leave. We got up walked to the cashier and simply said hey can we pay for our drinks. The waitress walk over and was like don’t worry about the bill. As we walked out we heard some chuckles and a yell sorry about that. As I walked out I knew what it was and bob you don’t have to worry about this black nurse or anyone I know going. This is probably why Sophia’s parking lot was filled and there was little to none there. Lesson learned.
