This intimate Italian eatery features a chaotic yet charming layout with counter seating ideal for small parties. The atmosphere is buzzy and authentic, and the staff is notably attentive to gluten-free needs, providing detailed allergy guidance and accommodating diners thoughtfully.

A classy but cool Italian restaurant - full of Italians - which is good sign! I’m a coeliac and our waiter was incredible. Gave me the allergy menu. Talked options. Choose dishes. Told staff. Even stopped my friend from dipping his bread in the mussels sauce. No pasta but the risotto was amazing. The knowledge of the serving staff was fantastic and teh atmosphere was spot on.

The whole experience was average at best. I was quite disappointed. Firstly, the layout of the restaurant is very chaotic with such a small space for dining tables. We didn't have one waiter, just loads of waiters coming up to our table asking the same questions on if we wanted a drink etc. I emailed ahead to say I was gluten free and instead of anyone talking me through the menu on what I could have or that could be adapted, I was just handed a piece of paper with allergens on it. For a 15% service charge I would expect much more than this. There was no gluten free bread (even though the waiter said he would get some). I don't know what kind of high end restaurant does not do GF bread these days. Also, there is only one option on the pre theatre menu - usually you would get a choice of 3. The portions of everything on the menu were tiny and we were left hungry after. I would say the food was average with exception of the saffron risotto which was tasty. There is no gluten free pasta option either which is also pretty unheard of these days. It was noisy and crowded with constant waiters walking past our table but also hard to get anyone's attention. Bocca di lupo has a great reputation behind it, but this was just missed the mark in so manu ways. I have booked the private dining room for work events in the past and had a good experience but dining as a normal customer was very underwhelming.
