I had a Poke Bowl at the Yours and Owls festival it was really good and me being celiac (gluten free) is was really comforting that he was aware of cross contamination and re made my order. I’ll be going again today.

Booked a lovely table with a beautiful view of the Harbour but the food was disappointing. Poached eggs on sourdough were plain and not much effort went into the presentation. Smashed avacado with tomatoes on toast was also disappointing in comparison with other cafes where we’ve eaten. Small portion, sparsely trimmed. Poached eggs on gluten free toast was the most disappointing and again presentation and effort were lacking. No sauces or condiments were offered which may have made the meals more appetizing. Won’t be eating here again in a hurry.

Well the atmosphere is delightful as is the view. Being coeliac I was thoroughly floored that the head chef Warren came out to greet me and ask the most thorough and thoughtful questions to ensure my food was safe for me. I have never had this happen in the 15 years I have been coeliac. Hats off to Warren head chef. I would consider the owner of this establishment very lucky to have him as his head chef. Bravo. Ps the food AND coffee are amazing and very reasonably priced . #WARREN HEAD CHEF ROCKS
