Updated review below.
Husband and I really enjoyed our meal and the service here! It was delicious and a great date night location. He had the ahi tuna which he says is the best he has ever had, and I had the pork chop with wine sauce. I could eat that sauce with everything!
However, I have celiac disease, and the only issue I had was afterwards when I realized the gluten free menu maybe had cross contamination? Or one of the items I ordered has been overlooked and contains gluten. They did provide a completely separate menu but those same items were on the regular menu as well.. I didn’t know to ask if there was a separate area for preparation so I cannot speak about their food prep and if in fact they do prepare things separately, but I can say that I was in fact in severe pain the rest of the night approximately 20 minutes after eating.
We will return because it was so good and I have high hopes choosing something different to eat. I would be curious to know if there are separate prep areas for the gluten free menu? Thanks!
Update 7/18: Recently dined here again and it was a completely different experience than our first time.
My husband received rancid Ahi Tuna.. The alcoholic drinks- besides the Sangria I got which was yummy- were watered down and flat tasting. The food was nowhere near the level of tastiness we expected (or for the price). The service itself was lacking, my husband discovered his tuna was bad within the first few seconds of getting our food, the waiter did not check on us until the rest of us were done with our meal.. A manager on duty never came to the table, the waiter did apologize, though, and took the tuna off the bill without issue.. which kind of gave the impression that this wasn’t something new that they deal with. So I would beware if anything you get is on the special menu, which the Ahi tuna was on..
Obviously this location suffers from quality control (their kitchen and staff)so unfortunately we will not be back because of that.
