Misleading for Coeliacs.
We had a lovely experience with friends. Great ambience, nice staff - however, the food menu was misleading in the lead up to the visit.
My partner is coeliac and we always pre-check the menus. The menu was littered with GF options - which is always a fabulous feeling! On arrival we re-informed the team of her status and they couldn’t guarantee the dishes were GF (due to using the same grill and fryer for preparing).
This meant we only had the choice of 2 cold plates, as well as 1 rice and the starters.
Guys - if your food isn’t truly GF - then don’t advertise as so! (OR, just have a coeliac friendly grill/fryer). We understand we often won’t be able to have the selection of a full menu - but cooked versions would be nice!!
The place is great and the people are lovely but this was an issue on our evening.
Highly recommend to others without same dietary requirements as food was yummy!
