Boojum - New Street

I have a gluten allergy and visited Boojum for the first time today. I'd had a look at their allergen list on their website and saw that pretty much everything was gluten free (apart from the wraps). When I ordered the burrito bowl I told the server I had a gluten allergy and wanted to double check the ingredients were in fact suitable for me and so she could take proper precautions when dishing up my bowl. At first I think she thought I meant I was vegetarian as was offered the no meat option... I asked if the chicken was GF and she checked the allergen list for me. This list was also on the side of the drinks fridge so I could also check. The burrito bowl was lovely but maybe staff need a bit of training into coeliac disease and what is GF on their menu.. Just a thought.. I will be back though as really enjoyed the food.
