Booyah

Very disappointed tonight. Drove all the way to Booyah, which advertises gluten and dairy free options, only to be told that there were no dairy free options tonight. This is despite there being two dairy free options listed on their scooping list. The young lady behind the counter was very apologetic, but this does not make up for the inconvenience.

WOW is all I have to say!!! Been dying to try this place for so long and finally got the chance to! There are two separate lists, one for pints, one for scoops. They have so many unique and amazing flavours to choose from on both lists from simple flavours like chocolate and cookie dough to earl grey, lavender honey, kookie monster, etc. Aside from the flavours, the options are endless (tacos, milkshakes, cookie sandwiches, it doesn't end)! I chose to get the sweet pocket which is a cinnamon-type bun with Nutella spread and ice cream, which I picked Banana Cream Chip. Then it went in some cool machine which heated it up so the bun was warm on the outside, but ice cream stayed cold inside. No exaggeration, this was the BEST dessert I've had IN MY LIFE. I've been dreaming about it since. I went with my family who had half sandwiches, cups, waffle cones, and soft-serve. This place really does have something for everyone; even gluten-free and vegan. Everyone LOVED what they got. Their flavours are sooo creamy and decadent. You can really tell the high-end, simple, fresh ingredients used in the ice cream. They had a wide-range of different flavours, one better than the next. We also bought some cookies to go which were freshly baked, very soft, chewy and fantastic. Aside from the ice cream, the two girls helping us were so friendly and helpful. They helped us narrow down our decisions and explain what everything was. Their COVID protocol was also fantastic, door blocked off, contactless tap, sanitizer available. All I have to say is I wish I tried this place earlier! Definitely going to be my new go-to spot. Especially since they always rotate their flavours and come out with new ones every Friday. Can't wait for my next visit!!
