Gluten free pizza crust here is the best in the industry. Service was great great great here. Place was very busy. Boston brute full size and lunch sized de luxe pizza. Tossed salad balsamic dressing. All good quality. Food arrived hot. Drinks took a while but it was busy. Didn't take too long to make food. Price wasn't too bad but getting expensive for a family restaurant, though. Pepsi products on fountain. Lots of options on both food and beverage menus. Lots and lots of different and interesting Gold fish bowls on offer on the new summer menu. Patio was open. Some tables still closed. Not enough staff to keep up with customers but refills came pretty timely, even though it was jammed with people. Make your own pasta menu is nice; add ons priced individually. You pick which noodles you want and which of the 4 sauces, then load in shrimp, bacon, chicken, onion, peppers, cheese, whatever.
I went for the gluten free noodles and they were fine, rose sauce is ok, with green peppers, bacon and shrimp. Shrimp would have been better if it was grilled or sauteed, before being tossed into sauce. Mine just tasted like it was boiled with the noodles, which was less than amazing and a bit of a watery sadness. BP's is a place where you can feel at home no matter where you are, and there's definitely a market for that.
