This review is for the restaurant not the hotel. Great food! Came twice for dinner during my 3-day stay in Hallstatt. I loved the bacon-wrapped chicken breast. They were kind to trade out the creamy pasta for potatoes and veggies, as I have a dairy and gluten allergy. Such good flavor. My husband ordered the steak the first time - it was a bit overcooked for his liking; the potatoes were good! Second time he got the pork schnitzel which he said was ok. He enjoyed the asparagus cream soup and the apple cake.

We visited the restaurant for lunch.... the staff were excellent. I have several food allergies and they were very understanding. Gluten free and garlic free was not a problem and the food and portion size excellent. We will definitely go back.
