We have known Quinty's as a slightly more expensive but definitely high-quality restaurant for around 20 years. After our visit today we will not be visiting this restaurant again. As a starter we ordered, among other things: 3 oysters, all of which were unfortunately not separated from the shell. The prawns were ok but no longer warm/hot. Worth mentioning was the gluten-free bread I requested! My friend ordered a TX Hopblond beer but was served a red ale beer. After the complaint, the correct beer was served, but it was in a beer can, which was not apparent from the drinks menu and, in his opinion, inappropriate for the high-quality oysters. We felt like we were in a better snack bar. When he opened the beer can, it foamed over and the contents ran across the table and onto his pants. The service always tried hard, but should be able to wipe a wet table completely dry. We wiped up the rest of the beer with our napkins. Unfortunately, we were now missing the napkins, which were not replaced when we served the main course. We only received this when we asked. We had to draw attention to ourselves and accept longer waiting times to order our drinks. Our main courses consisted of a teriyaki salad, which is featured on the menu with green asparagus. In fact, the salad unfortunately only had 1 single asparagus tip. And Texel lamb (€32) which was unfortunately only lukewarm. The vegetables, however, served on the same plate, were very hot. We suspect a poorly organized kitchen. Maybe it was just the asparagus that was out... €100 poorer and one experience richer, we now know where we can order canned beer with oysters.
