Brasserie Uno

After a busy day and great hike, our family went to Brasserie Uno this evening for their fixed plate (5 courses) dinner. One of our family members cannot eat gluten, dairy or egg, so she often has to compromise while the rest of us enjoy our meals. Not so at Brasserie Uno. Every plate was carefully and deliciously prepared, beautifully plated and perfectly timed. Every staff member was focused on making sure their carefully planned and choreographed dinner came off perfectly and that everyone enjoyed the unique combinations of flavour and texture and colour. What some restaurants consider food complications were instead opportunities for this kitchen to show off its talent. This was one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed anywhere. A trip to Switzerland isn’t complete without a trip to Zermatt. And a trip to Zermatt isn’t complete without a dinner at Brasserie Uno. Thank you again - we’ll be back.
