Brassica in Westlake

Absolutely love Brassica! Everything is gluten free other than the pita, pita chips, and cookies, and the fryer is dedicated to gluten free items. In terms of layout, the pita is the first item on the line, but the pita chips are in front of other item, so unlikely to accidentally drop into something else, and the cookies are off the line near the register. When I mentioned I had celiacs, the worker immediately washed his hands and got fresh utensils for every item on the line. He also prepared new lettuce and new fried onions to avoid potential cross contamination on the items added to the pita first (and therefore not just plopped into it, so high risk of cross contamination). I do not recommend getting the hummus or baba unless they can get it from a fresh tray-they use a spatula that touches the pitas when they out it in.

We’ve been to Brassica a few times now and it’s consistently amazing. The food is super fresh and still quick. You can tell they really care about quality. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Also, their healthy sodas are such an added bonus. We always leave there feeling full yet refreshed. You can choose between wraps, bowls, salads, and they also have French fries as a side option. All gluten free! Definitely one of our favorite spots!

The staff was great, as soon as we asked questions they washed hands got fresh tools and made fresh lettuce. No questions asked. The falafel was made fresh to order. Will definitely be back
