Im a local and during my free time I like going to small businesses to get away from the glamer the casual big names. On a walk to the through Palos Heights on the way to the library I came across BreadSmith. I walked in was greeted with a huge smile and offered samples on the front counter. Since I was walking I wanted something small enough to eat on the go so I ordered a Chocolate Muffin. I was impressed with openess of the bakery the oven was right in front and everything is made fresh daily dairy and egg free. If gluten is problematic for yoyr diet I seen a a selction of gluten free products as well.
