Brewvino Bar

Sadly, our visit to Brewvino was very disappointing, particularly as it was meant to be a special birthday celebration. The wait staff seemed unapproachable and disengaged, walking around with flat expressions and showing little effort to make guests feel welcome. No table service whatsoever so ever in an expensive venue seems absurd to me. The overall customer service lacked warmth and professionalism. When our meals arrived, one waitress mentioned she wasn’t sure whether a dish was gluten free. She went back to the kitchen to confirm then returned to take it away as she stated it wasn’t (it was gluten free) and then disappeared for around 45 minutes leaving us waiting for another dish and a replacement. It took several attempts to get anyone’s attention, to rectify our issue and when we finally did, the response was slow and disorganised. We were later told by the waitress who failed to return with our final dishes that our table time had expired and were asked to leave — even though we hadn’t received two of the meals we’d already paid for. The only compensation offered was extra table time to eat once the missing meals eventually arrived, almost an hour after ordering. During our meal, a waitress accidentally spilled a drink on my friend. Accidents happen, but what made it worse was the complete lack of apology or care — she simply threw a napkin toward the table and walked away. It was uncomfortable and felt very dismissive. She also ordered the ribs, which were quite expensive, but they turned out to be overly fatty and not enjoyable at all. For the price, the quality was far below expectation. Very disappointing. Overall, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. What should have been a relaxed, enjoyable birthday dinner turned stressful and frustrating. We won’t be returning. Thanks.

First time but definitely not the last! When half of your clan are gluten free share menus are not always a choice for us, but we can't thank the Brewvino Crew enough for making sure we had a delish foodie stop and my sisters birthday dinner was one to remember! Also huge shout out to the AWESOME Emily whose service to our table was the best we've seen in too long of hanging out in eateries local to Mandurah through to high end spaces in Freo and Perth. Sadly we've constantly come up against wait teams in the past year or so who really SHOULDN'T be working in the hospitality sector...however that's not the vibe we got from the Brewvinos Crew! Smiles, knowledge of menu and a commitment to making sure their customers leave with a full belly and plans to book another date is the vibe we got!
