Went here for a friend's birthday. Had a pre-ordered afternoon tea in the conservatory. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Finger sandwiches, sausage roll, cakes, scone, jam and cream. I had dietary requirements that were given to the chef, gluten and dairy free being two of them. He was spot on with producing a suitable and inventive afternoon tea for me. Will definitely be going again now I know he keeps gluten free bread, cakes etc in stock.
The bistro is part of a small garden and craft centre complex, so worth a visit to have a look at locally made crafts, antique collectibles , and art shop amongst others.
