Broad Street Bagel Co & Brooklyn Pizza

Every time I have family and friends visit I have my “go to” places. Broad Street Bagels is clearly one of them! There is a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere the minute you walk in along with really friendly and patient employees esp because there are a tasteful variety of bagel selections to choose from. The freshness, flavor and texture are consistently very good. I’m in NYC for my job quite often and have to say that I no longer need to return home with bagels for the family now that BSB is here in Slingerlands. Their cream cheese selection is also a plus and I recommend vegetable and jalapeño. A few times I’ve bought gluten free when specifically asked for and there were no disappointments from anyone who had them. Their hours are convenient and I even recommend calling in your order if you’re not dining there. My kids love their pizza, esp the broccoli and cheese. There are more locally owned restaurants opening up in the area and we are quite fortunate that they offer quality and uniqueness for us to enjoy at affordable prices.

I love how convenient this spot is to me. I have been to the location in Kinderhook for pizza and his gluten free pizza was great!! I heard he will be offering gluten free bagels soon so I look forward to that. I had the pizza at this location this past week and they had a slightly different dough but it was still delicious. I also had medium wings which had a great flavor.
