Broad Street Baking Company & Cafe

We stopped here on a roadtrip and were delighted to find a fresh, unique sandwich shop that offered delicious homemade gluten free bread. Their serving sizes are very generous, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. We liked it so much we stopped again on our way home a week later! The wait time was pretty long, they were very busy at lunch hour.

Called in a pickup order of a gluten free blueberry muffin and was told they only had a few left so I asked them to set one aside for me and was told they would. Drove 30 minutes out of my way to get my order only to find they didn’t set it aside for me like they said they would. So I drove a total of an hour for an order I placed but never even received. I am 6 months pregnant and all I wanted was a blueberry muffin that I could eat and now am late to my ultrasound because of their inconsiderate actions.

Super yummy food with lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. Such friendly and helpful staff! I requested an odd food substitution and the owner not only approved it, it was on the house. 100%, will be back next time I'm in town!
