My friends had a great meal and experience but I wanted to warn others with dietary needs. Brothers have this week introduced a dietary needs menu, with lots of gluten free, vegetarian options etc. As well as their normal menu labelling alot of gluten free items.
When I approached the server and said I need to order from the dietary menu as I'm gluten free with coeliac disease she looked at me confused like she wasn't sure what I meant. I said I'm coeliac so wanted to make sure gf meant true gluten free coeliac safe different fryers etc...she said she had to go speak to the chef and came back saying the chef said I could only have the garlic bread and noodle salad and nothing else, so I ordered that (not optimistic).
Went against my better judgement and ate the garlic bread (which wasn't great), but the noodle salad was awful so only had a couple bites, but have been sick since I got home unfortunately.
I feel that if you have a dietary menu that all staff and chef should have proper training for things such as coeliac disease or take the gf off the items on the menu if they aren' really gluten free.
Again my friends had a great experience and lovely food so didn't want to give one star but for dietary requirements I wouldn't be keen to go back again.
