Browns Crafthouse UBC

I am following up from my previous review that I had left a few weeks ago. Despite having a negative experience, the staff at Browns Crafthouse went above and beyond to make sure that my friends and I had a good experience to make up for what had initially happened. The manager Matt reached out and was very kind and generous, and offered to make the experience better for us. They accommodated drinks and many appetizers for our large group, and were super sweet the entire time. I cannot remember our servers name, but she was a tall caucasian woman. She provided excellent service and took my friend's gluten allergy very seriously. It was some of the best customer experiences I had. Matt himself had come out and greeted us, apologized for the previous experience, and made sure we had a great time. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had a good experience, and it was really appreciated!

Not safe for celiacs

Browns is a nice pub type spot. We got seated quickly for lunch and our server was friendly and attentive. Drinks and food came out at decent times. My sister has celiacs disease and had heard Browns has gluten free options. They were able to make modifications on a meal and she enjoyed it, Blackened chicken Caesar with no croutons. I got a cheeseburger with Caesar salad. There’s a ramp and accessible entrance and chairs can be moved to fit wheelchairs.
