Great range of assorted gins and spirits, and menu that includes a selection of reliable pub classics as well as veggie, vegan and gluten free options. All the food was really good, the staff were really nice and the owner herself was there pitching in and waiting tables alongside the staff. Out of the meals we ordered, we would particularly recommend the fried brie starter, steak and burgers. Really lovely vibe, clearly a place where the staff are looked after and it shows in their service. The starter arrived quite quickly, the mains took a little longer but the atmosphere was so lovely we didn't really notice. The venue is cosy and warm, despite being big, and wasn't overly noisy either. The seating is comfy but a little firm, so those with back problems may want to bring a cushion to be extra comfortable. A really lovely place, look forward to going back with all the family!

Pity a promising bar & restaurant is spoiled by minority of ‘couldn’t care’ bar staff when visited, initially told couldn’t eat (large table booking due), then served with wrong beer I hadn’t ordered, then charged for drinks I didn’t have! Not sure what she meant either that the ribs were battered? Food was good, but menu fairly limited - especially if you have a gluten allergy. Front of house staff can make or mar a business. Hope they don’t rest on laurels being close to the caravan site for business.
