Booked ahead but no need as a quiet Wednesday evening. Dog friendly. Really lovely atmosphere, soft music and candles lit, a lovely space to dine in the evening.
However, I advised on my dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy intolerant) and was greeted with "oh no, you're one of those". Very disappointed to hear this from what appeared to be a senior member of waiting staff.
However, my intolerances were accommodated for and food was very nice.
Although a gluten free bun could have been provided, I asked for 'the naked', a salad alternative. I was shocked to be charged £3.90 extra. No bun, less salad as was only given lettuce leaf and onion, no tomato which would have been included in the burger if I had it in a bun. Seemed a bit extortionate.
Food and atmosphere was nice so I do recommend, I was just very disappointed by the poor attitude of the waiter.
