Burnt Honey Dessert Company

Burnt Honey is absolutely wonderful. All of the desserts here are to die for, they’re consistently tasty and new flavours of ice cream come out all the time. My personal favourite is the raspberry chocolate caramel but truly everything here is extraordinarily delicious. The macarons are also great, and I don’t even usually eat macarons- that’s how good they are! Best ice cream in Nanaimo, and probably the island in my opinion (and I make a point of visiting ice cream shops) The shop is decently wheelchair accessible and has gluten free options.

Wonderful, interesting, and often daring flavors of ice cream and macarons. Always clearly marked dairy free and gluten free options. The atmosphere is always friendly, inviting, and accepting. I would like to thank them, in particular, for validating, accepting, and encouraging local marginalized communities openly and unabashedly. Keep producing great treats with open hearts!!
