Parking: like the rest of Soco- park on the STREET. This place is right across the street from Amy's. Look for the bright yellow trailer.
What's great about this place:
- fresh bread made by Easy Tiger (also have gluten free sourdough)
- fancy cheese choices & creative sauces: balsamic apricot fig, jalapeno cream cilantro, spicy maple bacon, dulce de leche
- good portion; filling
- customer service (see below)
What could be better
1) you'll have to be patient (we waited about 10 mins to get our sandwiches)
2) Making your own can add up $$; if you don't watch out... you can easily end up paying $13-$18 for a grilled cheese sandwich
BEST Sandwich: Hubby & I created our own: Sourdough + gouda + almond pesto aioli $6.5. I think it was everyone's favorite.
Thoughts:
1) Get SOURDOUGH-- I didn't get to try the king's hawaiian bread, but that sourdough was superb! They grilled it so it was perfectly crispy on the outside-- reminds me of Fricano's sandwiches.
2) Great customer service. You know how the ends of the bread loaf are smaller than the ones in the middle? Never fear. Here... when this happens here, they just double up your sandwich. (aka you get 2 smaller sandwiches instead of 1-- which ends up being HUGE- portionsize)
