Butternut Bakehouse is by far my favorite cafe in all of Arlington, and believe me, I have tried them all! Service is consistently friendly and my partner and I have enjoyed getting to know the wonderful staff members who serve us. Manager Allison took special care of us several times we came in, remembering our orders and generously making the wait worth our while on one particularly busy morning. I highly recommend the quiche for a rich and satisfying savory breakfast. I would do unspeakable things to get the recipe. The morning buns are a classic, and their creative takes on pizza and croissants are 10/10. I would also recommend their more creative beverages such as the chai and turmeric lattes. My partner loves the breakfast sandwich, as their paprika honey butter adds the perfect level of sweet spice to the egg and focaccia. Butternut Bakehouse has clearly labeled gluten free and vegan options which is a plus too. Their cakes are fantastic too! My mother in law loved the carrot cake which was both moist and flavorful, and the cream cheese frosting did not disappoint. Overall I have never had a bad experience with anything here!!
