A neighborhood institution! Locally owned coffee shop that ethically sources beans from small farms. The coffee is excellent, there is also always a great selection of tea. My winter favorite is the chai latte, there are often seasonal special drinks. On site you can also purchase sweet and savory baked goods as well as sandwiches and salads. There are often gluten free options available. A great selection of coffee you can take home, they will also ground the coffee on site if you need. Not a lot of seating inside, but more tables in the outdoor shelter. For a real treat get your coffee to go and enjoy it at Fort Tryon Park!

Coffee: It's a great cup of coffee. Had 2 cappuccinos with Oat Milk. Very tasty. What one would expect from an artisan coffee shop. Other Offerings: They have a small but nice selection of pastries and cakes, including gluten free options. Had the banana loaf and it was different and good. Location: Excellent location in Washington Heights. Its lovely to have a coffee shop of this caliber in the neighbourhood. It is small on the inside so I wouldn't go there to hang out or catchup, but with post-pandemic seating outside, this aspect is better. Service: Service was lovely and fast. The reason for one less star is the price. Almost $13 for 2 oatmilk cappuccinos? Wowza. We live in London now (I'm originally from Washington Heights) and we stayed in 5 different neighborhoods in our 4 week NY visit, including by Central Park and by Bryant Park, and these were the most expensive coffees of our trip!
