This place was so good I ended up going back multiple times while I was in town! The outside is very unassuming, but take a chance and stop in! The staff is extremely pleasant and the food is top notch. My favorite quickly became the crab corn soup, but everything I had was great! It's also in very close proximity to the conference center and other cute places on Pearl st. Don't miss this place if you're in the area! A note: they also have a separate gluten free menu if you have dietary restrictions.

This was a pleasantly surprising experience. I would not have expected to find above average Cajun food in the middle of a small Midwestern City. My boyfriend got the eggplant and seafood dish and it was quite good. I ordered the pasta Florentine, which on the menu is made with gluten-free pasta and vegetarian meat and they were quite accommodating and made it with regular pasta and blackened chicken. It was mild but flavorful and I definitely recommend if that's the flavor profile you're in the mood for. The poutine was not my favorite and I wouldn't order it again, but brown gravy is hit or miss for me in general.
