Excellent French food in a great location opposite the Cathedral. Very good gluten-free menu. Service is friendly and helpful, but there can be a wait for orders to be taken at times. Depending on where you're sitting, the restaurant can get noisy.

We were visiting Exeter for the weekend and came across Cotë. Pleased we did as we really enjoyed the food here. My son is Coeliac and we chose here for its GF menu. It was an excellent, diverse and inclusive menu. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The booth we sat I. Was private and comfortable. The single and only negative point was the noise level. It was very cosy and the noise was overwhelming - maybe some soft furnishings to absorb the sound 😊 The food was delighted reasonably priced.
