The smash burger is a juicy, caramelized patty on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and Calo’s zesty house sauce, served with those same stellar fries. Both dishes showcase Calo’s comfort food prowess. For dessert, their homemade cheesecake was the best I’ve ever had, creamy and rich, and to my surprise, gluten-free. The brandy amaretto rice pudding was equally amazing, warm and subtly sweet with a delightful boozy kick. Cozy vibe, great value.

After a funeral service at Holy Cross Cemetery, my family needed a place to gather and have an early dinner. My wife found this place after searching for a restaurant with Gluten Free options. I called Calo's to see if we needed a reservation for a party of 7 plus my niece in a wheelchair. The owner answered, said we did not need a reservation, but he said he'd expect us and ha e a table ready for my family. We arrived on a Friday about 3:20pm, the table was ready, and we had plenty of room. My wife had plenty of GF options, and was very happy. I had the half-chicken and shrimp combo with fries and slaw, it was amazing. My uncle had fish and chips and the portion was well-sized. Everything we ordered was delicious, we had ZERO complaints about Calo's! Oh, and try the Mango Lemonade!!!! Fantastic! If you're in the area, NO, I don't care how far away you are... Take the time to drive here. You won't be disappointed!!!! Calo's is amazing!
