CHEFS Bonaire

My husband and I had an excellent dinner at Chefs last night. We booked it 6 months in advance! There was a couple that got on the waitlist a few months ago that got a spot so definitely try the waitlist if no spots are available. There are 4 chefs that source fresh ingredients both locally and from all over the world. Many I have never had or heard of but were delicious! They prepare a 5 course meal in their kitchen that is right in front of you. You can get a wine pairing to go with it as well. Each course they share what it is and where it was sourced from. I put I was gluten free in my reservation so they planned out my meal for me and had on hand all the alternative ingredients. They confirmed my allergy in a reminder email, reminder text message and 3 of the chefs confirmed it with me at different points prior to the meal starting. They verified if they could toast my bread on a tray in the same oven the bread just came out of. Felt very comfortable. Each course a chef explained my version of the course to me. The gf bread from a local celiac was some of the best I’ve ever had! I also highly recommend staying at Bamboo! We stayed in a cabana with our own personal plunge pool.
