We had a pretty strange experience. Both of our meals were incomplete when they were brought out. The bowl was missing the chicken, which I would think was obvious. Then my sandwich was missing all the toppings - ALL the toppings. The server acted like we were complaining and he didn't want to deal with it. So he only brought the chicken out, for the bowl. And he refused to bring the toppings for my sandwich, even though I paid extra to have them. First time I came here, it was fantastic. We met the owner who was walking around checking on everyone. Very kind guy, excited to open the restaurant. Fun atmosphere as well. I also love the Gluten Free capabilities (fully GF friers). But, this last experience was pretty bad, and makes it not worth going again if this repeats itself.

I very much enjoyed my meal experience at Chiringa. I’m gluten-free and was thrilled to see so many options! This visit, I had the GF fried shrimp basket with fries - delicious! Perfectly crisp and not overly bettered or soggy. (Could have used tartar sauce!) Fries also very good - they are on the softer side, but I liked them a lot. There were so many things I wanted to try! My mentor had the Baja fish taco and chips + guac. My husband got the double cheeseburger- also good. Not many dessert options - kind of pops and cookies. I’d recommend adding a gluten free option that isn’t a popsicle. It is set up where you have to order at the counter the they bring it out to you. They have many pre-mixed frozen cocktails (so you can’t make it non-alcoholic). It’s also outside only seating but they have it well covered to offer shade. Great people watching spot along the beltline. I’d totally come back to try some of their sandwiches on gluten free bun. 2nd visit: the GF fried shrimp entree was just as good as our first visit. Added a side salad. Husband ordered GF fish basket - food tasted good but very small portion size, could have used at least 2 more pieces. Main disappointment was the frozen mixed cocktail / forget the name of it, but it had Rum so we thought it would be sweet, but was very bitter.
