CORNER STREET DINER

We went here as my wife is celiac and they had gluten free fish and chips. We called ahead and confirmed they had gluten free options. We had drove across the city to go there and was looking forward to it as she rarely gets gluten free fish and chips. When we got there we were informed that they actually only have gluten free fish and broccoli. That the batch of fries that they currently have contained wheat. We had our 5 kids with us and had to leave as she was so disappointed. They had a nice play area to entertain the kids which is nice. Just was an overall let down in terms of gluten free options which they advertise on their menu.

Tasty breakfast. Cute little restaurant that offers good portioned meals at reasonable prices and friendly service. Gluten free: limited options if you are high sensitivity celiac (no cross-contamination) however the eggs Benedict was tasty and they take extra care in the kitchen to ensure gluten free preparation. Non-gluten free: French toast breakfast was delicious.

Stopped in here last night for supper on our way out of calgary and were so impressed! All of our food was fresh, delicious and the service was great. Had the best gluten free sandwich (clubhouse) I've ever had! They even offered to do gluten free (fresh oil) fries although I declined because it would've taken too long for our quick dinner, but was grateful for the offer.. celiacs don't normally get this!
