CREME De La CREPE

This was a hidden gem. I had a wonderful chorizo Benedict. They had plenty of gluten free options for my wife.

French-style bistro located inside the German Village in Huntington Beach, right across the Costco. It's a small place, but it's clean and nicely decorated. Service is corteous and reasonably prompt. The savory crepes are made with buckwheat flour, and that puzzled me a bit. They're not as fluffy and light as the regular ones. And, in my humble opinion, they don't taste as good. Don't know why they made that choice (so that they could claim they're gluten-free?) Anyhow, the filling was very good. I recommend the Normandie crepe. We also ordered a sweet crepe, and that was good. All in all, it's a good choice and the prices are reasonable.
