Cabra Castle Hotel

To be honest, we've stayed in nicer rooms (we had a bedroom in one of the lodges), but the service from all the staff we encountered was amazing. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention Louise, who looked after our table during my wife's nephew's wedding. I have to say, whatever Cabra Castle are paying Louise, they should double it, because you can't buy staff of her caliber anywhere. Special mention also goes to Kerry, who, once she heard that my wife was looking for gluten-free options, immediately popped up with a tray of GF goodies. Thanks to Louise, Kerry, and all who looked after us during our stay. We'll be back!

It was absolutely stunning! It is big and confusing to get through. I lost my way the 1st couple times I tried to get to my room. There was a wedding there which I accidentally attended 3 times throughout the night because of some wrong turns. My one complaint would be they are not very good at accommodating special diets. I am gluten free and have to be. They did well at dinner but breakfast was limited and the girl was a bit rude when I asked about it.
