Café Intermezzo - Nashville

The Barista is the best, she is friendly but also makes wonderful drinks!! Very nice place for just a morning drink or breakfast… and bonus, gluten toast!

RULES! So many rules. No cash, cannot bring in your starbucks coffee, etc.. but food was really good. I had the cheeseburger well done (not today, E.Coli) but it was very dry. They must use very lean meat.. but it was still very tasty. We had a person in out party who was very gluten allergic, and they took excellent care in preparation of her food. So definitely give this place a try!

A little gem in Nashville! We came here two mornings in a row because it was so wonderful. I have Celiac disease which can make dining out challenging. Cross contamination is a concern. Cafe Intermezzo was more than happy to answer my questions about gluten free menu items and even volunteered how seriously they take preparation without me asking. The omelettes were amazing and the gluten free apple crumb cheesecake was a highlight of my trip! We thoroughly enjoyed their house coffee and they didn’t rush us when we lingered for an hour or two to read our books & drink our coffee. Special shout-out to Sammy/Sami the barista - she was so friendly, remembered guests’ names as they came in, and expertly handled training a newer employee while serving us. We loved this place!
