Café TILIA

We were there today and unfortunately had to wait a very long time. We were thanked for our patience, as it was simply very busy that day. It was still very tasty, though! The breads could be a bit bigger. The atmosphere is extremely nice. Overall, we would go back because the waffles are gluten-free and they were also very tasty.

Really delicious and friendly service. Fair prices and a nice atmosphere! Plenty of vegan options too! :) ...and gluten-free/vegan waffles, yey!

We recently discovered this gem of a café and couldn’t be more impressed. Their gluten-free waffles are absolutely delicious - crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and full of flavor which you can also customize with fruits like strawberries, bananas, and more inside the waffle itself. Paired with their excellent coffee, it made for a perfect brunch. Also want to mention the super friendly service. We felt very welcome. All in all, one of the best cafes we have been to in years. We even regretted that we don't live in Freiburg.
