Cafe Birdie

First time trying this place! Loved it, food was great and fresh and it was such a comfortable little place to spend the morning. Loved their music that they played also, just really good vibes all around. We ordered tomato confet on a grilled baguette, chose gluten free bread and added a fried egg. It was amazing! And we also got the Hole In the Wall with a side salad. Was good as well especially the side salad, it was simple but very good.

We were looking for a treat around Edwardsville today & Yelp "surprise me" feature selected Cafe Birdie for us - so glad it did! I had the gluten free lemon lavender donut & a vanilla latte - both were great! My husband had a scone he enjoyed & lemonade that was very freshly squeezed. Service was prompt and friendly - you order up at the counter. Lots of GF options, no upcharge for oat milk, gender neutral bathroooms, cozy seating both indoor and outdoor on the patio, self serve water station.

My husband, my son and I stopped into Birdies Cafe on Sunday around 12:30pm. We were greeted immediately by two friendly faces, and were told the specials and shown the gluten free options in the bakery case. The place smelled delecious and looked very clean. My son had a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with tots on the side. He rated his meal 10 of 10. I had mushroom confiet in toast with fruit salad and a lavender lemonade, very delecious!! My husband had a weekend special the Turkish Egg plate he gave it a 4.5 out of 5 only because he wished he had ordered an extra egg 😀 He had never tried Turkish eggs before so he didn't know how much he was going to love it. Birdies has lots of options and offers lots of variety to accommodate all types of diets. I can't wait to introduce more of my family to this yummy gem.
