Our family has loved Gouda since we moved to Hickory - great food and service, and the gluten-free options have been a welcome choice for a family member that needs it. Unfortunately, Cafe Gouda recently switched all their chicken dishes to use chicken thighs, and...it simply doesn't taste good. The dishes that we loved have really taken a hit in quality since the switch. I hate to cross this restaurant off our list of regular patronage, but until they switch back to chicken breast, we won't be back. We truly hope you switch back soon - or at least give us an option!

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great! A live jazz band played for the dinner crowd. The coffee is highly recommended as well! Gluten intolerant people are welcomed!
