Cafe Kacao

My wife and I made a trip over from Tulsa as I had to deal with some work stuff in the city. We have heard great things about this place and wanted to give it a go. Got in the vittual waitlist on our way over as the wait was 51-75 min. We arrived right on time and were promptly seated at the coffee bar. As far as GF options, they can sub out flour tortillas for corn which were amazing. We voth got the crab omelet which was one of the specials and it was absolutely amazing.. probably the best food we have had since we have lived in Oklahoma. I mean it was fantastic flavors. Im Celiac and didnt have any reactions, but was extra full for sure. We also ordered lattes as they are amazing. The Nutella was especially good. I highly recommend coming here if you have the opportunity. The wife also tried to churros and said they were the best she had had. Will definitely return when we come back to OKC.

Absolutely amazing. Our waiter, Edmund, made sure we understood the kitchen is not celiac safe. As I'm only gluten intolerant I can handle that. Once I looked at the menu and choose my top 3 wish items he was able to tell me which ones could be made gf. We got the carne asada and whatever the mole special of the day. Both were exceptional and I did not have a reaction to either. I could make a meal out of just plantains😍 We also got the Matcha (the one made with pistachios?) The best I've ever had! We visited on a Monday and put our name on the Yelp wait list ahead of time. They sent a text stating it would be appx 53 minutes. 10 minutes later I received a text stating our table would be ready in 20 minutes. It was ready when we arrived.
