Cafe Meow

We loved the atmosphere of this cafe so much that we returned three times during our week stay in the area! The menu is brilliant and your booking comes with a complementary drink - there are plenty to choose from! They also offer some lovely food such as toasties, pizzas, and cakes. We messaged in advance to check their gluten free options and they made sure that they could provide these especially. Calming music is played throughout the session. The cats are all friendly and happy to curl up near customers and have some fuss while they sleep. At our visits they were also home to 3 very playful kittens which kept the children in the cafe very entertained! The real stars are the staff. They are extremely friendly and their love for their cats is very apparent. They give customers all the information they have on all their cats including tips and tricks on how to engage with them - for example we were told one of the cats loved pats on his back but no head scratches! They also allowed us into one of their pods to meet one of their new arrivals who wasn't ready to come out yet. This was a lovely experience for us and the cat (the lovely Daisy!) seemed very happy to come out for some fuss in her own time and on her own terms. Overall a brilliant experience. Our party only consisted of two adults but it seemed to make a fantastic family venue (for children over 8) as all the families we saw seemed to be as in love with the cafe as we were!
