Every single bite of our first Cafe Mochiko experience was pure perfection. Every single pastry we tried (and we tried every pastry they had in stock) has the perfect blend of aesthetics, textures and flavors. The balance of sweet and savory could not have been better. Every pastry was a work of art and had us hesitate for the briefest moment before we dove in and devoured it.
The sweet corn bibinka (gluten-free) mixed a delicate corn sweetness with a finely shredded cheddar on top to make the most mouthwatering combination.
Egg and kimchi croissant blew my mind and had me desperately wishing I had ordered two.
Ube halaya croissant- these type typically land too sweet for me but this one was pretty yam perfect.
If you like everything bagels the Everything Cream Cheese Bao will knock your socks off.
Make sure you get to the shop early as they do sell out (we learned this the hard way a few weeks ago). It is a 45 minute drive down for us but I can say without hesitation that it was well worth the drive. You won’t be disappointed- and if you are….there may be something wrong with you. 😜🤤
