This place felt like our second home in our stay in Guiones! The staff is incredible friendly. The food was amazing. I am celiac and there were plenty of GF options for me. The mango fish fajitas were definitely a highlight as was the chili guaro! The rice and beans were the best out of all the places I tried in my 12 days visiting. Did I mention how nice the staff is?!?! Top Notch. So lucky we found this place.

We enjoyed Beach Dog Cafe for lunch and drinks twice while visiting Nosara/Playa Guiones. The owner/manager was extremely friendly and accommodating to our group! We arrived the first time soaking wet it the middle of a monsoon and he welcomed us right in and got us fixed up with drinks right away. He introduced us to the local favorite chiliguaro shot which warmed us up nicely! The Pina coladas are the freshest most delicious in town! Their picklemole was great (guac with pickles and jalapenos). They have plenty of gluten free and vegan options. The fish tacos were excellent!
