Caffeine & Machine: The Bowl

Coffee is always good, good music , warm comfortable space and a good food menu with some gluten free options. Staff are polite and welcoming and must attend on an event day!

We came to the German Car meet on Wednesday, perhaps because of the season it wasn’t massively busy and the atmosphere was a bit flat. Would be good to have a “focused” car time where all owners or cars were present to showcase such as being able to hear the engines as well as look at the aesthetics (because let’s face it- the sound matters and that’s what everyone loves most!) It would also have been good to have maybe some atmospheric music or mood lighting around the car park so your not just stood wondering about. Perhaps a neighbours thing but it looked pretty secluded to me. We bought our dog with us as the pub and restaurant are dog friendly! The food was good although had run low on some gluten free options. Nice thick bacon in the bacon burger - tasted good and a generous portion of fries. Perhaps because it’s new it’s not been massively publicised and perhaps because it was mid week but I think a ticketed event needs to have some kind of purposeful visual collective and buzz. We will come back- mostly because it’s nice inside, dog friendly and the food was good with friendly service.
